What henna do you use?
100% natural henna powder mixed with essential oils and lemon juice. We never use black henna or anything containing PPD, which can cause serious skin reactions.
How do I get a darker stain?
Keep the paste on as long as you can. Avoid water for 12 to 24 hours after removing it. A lemon and sugar mix dabbed on the dry paste helps, and a little natural oil after it flakes off helps too.
How long does mehndi last?
Usually 1 to 3 weeks, depending on your skin and where it is. It is darkest for the first few days, then fades slowly.
How much is bridal mehndi in Coventry?
Bridal henna at Haven starts from £200, and smaller mehndi designs start from £6. The final price depends on the design and how much of the hands and feet it covers, so we confirm it before we start.
When should I have my bridal mehndi done?
One to two days before the wedding. Henna keeps darkening for 24 to 48 hours after the paste comes off, so the colour peaks on the day.
