Your first lash lift: what to expect
A lash lift curls your own lashes from the root so they look longer and more open. Nothing is added, so there is nothing to maintain. Here is what happens from booking to aftercare.

Before your appointment
Two simple steps make the day go smoothly:
- A patch test at least 24 to 48 hours before your first lift, to check you do not react to the solution.
- Come with clean eyes and no mascara. It saves time and gives the best result.
- If you wear contact lenses, bring your case so you can take them out.
During the lift
You lie back with your eyes closed. Your lashes are placed on a small shield and lifted from the root with gentle solutions, timed carefully so they are not over-processed.
You can add a lash tint at the same visit if you would like the lifted lashes darker too.
Aftercare
The first day or two matter most:
- Keep your lashes dry and away from steam and saunas for 24 to 48 hours.
- Skip mascara for the first day.
- Then brush them through each morning. A clean spoolie is all you need.
How long it lasts
About 6 weeks. The curl grows out naturally as your lashes shed and regrow, so there are no infills to book.
