How long does eyebrow threading last?
Short answer: usually 2 to 4 weeks. Threading lifts each hair from the root, so the brow stays clean until new hairs grow through. How long that takes depends on you.

What makes it last longer or shorter
Hair grows in cycles, so not every hair comes back at the same time. A few things change how quickly the shape softens:
- How fast your hair grows. This varies from person to person.
- Hormones. Hair can grow faster at some times than others.
- Fine or dark hair. Dark regrowth shows sooner against the skin.
- Tweezing in between. Pulling stray hairs can upset the shape your therapist set.
How often should you rebook?
Every 3 to 4 weeks keeps the shape crisp for most people.
Growing your brows out? Leave it 6 to 8 weeks, then have only the stray hairs tidied.
Keep the shape sharp between visits
A few simple habits help:
- Brush your brows upward each morning so you can see the line.
- Resist tweezing more than the odd stray hair below the brow.
- Skip makeup, fake tan and saunas on the area for the rest of the day after threading.
- Add a brow tint if your hairs are fair. It makes the shape show for longer.
Threading or waxing for brows?
Threading gives a more precise line and nothing hot or sticky touches the skin, so it suits sensitive skin and people using retinol.
Results last a similar time. The difference is in precision and comfort.
