What is a skin booster? Treatment, results and price
A skin booster is a series of tiny injections that spreads hydration through the skin, so it looks smoother, firmer and brighter. It does not change your face shape. At Haven, skin boosters start from £70 for the under-eyes.
Skin booster or filler?
Fillers add volume and change shape. Skin boosters do not. They spread fine hydration through the skin to improve texture, firmness and glow.
What happens at the appointment
Every treatment at Haven starts with a consultation:
- Consultation: we talk about your skin, your medical history and what you want to change. You must be over 18.
- Treatment: numbing cream first, then a series of tiny injections into the target area. About 30 to 45 minutes.
- Results: skin looks smoother, firmer and brighter over 2 to 4 weeks as hydration builds.
How many sessions, and downtime
Usually 2 to 3 sessions, 3 to 4 weeks apart, then a top-up every 6 to 9 months.
Downtime is small. Bumps at the injection points usually settle within hours. Mild bruising or swelling can last a few days.

Who should not have one
We will not treat if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have an active skin infection. Your consultation covers everything else.
